Fundamentals of Society Building: Panacea for Societal Attitudenal and Behavioral Challenges.

The world has been in crises since the much-preached "fall of man". The fall refers to what happened to the first man, Adam and first woman, Eve in the garden of Eden. 
The woman had listened to a strange but beautiful creature identified as Serpent to do what he, the Serpent, suggested to the woman against the clear instruction the Creator gave to Adam after he settled them in the garden to tend it. Eve had curiously examined the fruit from the tree  in the middle of the garden of Eden and identified it as good for food, pleasing to the eyes and desirable for gaining wisdom and knowledge of good and evil and so she took fruit from the forbidden tree and ate as well as served her husband the same fruit.
That was a clear case of disobedience which God could not tolerate! God not only bannished them from the garden but he also put enmity between the man and his wife and the serpent. This clear case of disobedience created enmity between the creatures and God. This case of disobedience has been the origin of the conflict through the ages.
What then? God later appointed a man in history to begin a process of restoring these lost cordial relationships. In his declaration he placed confidence in Abram to do the needful, train his children to follow God's ways and live right as well as administer justice. Abraham was expected to train his offspring to obey God's commands, unlike Adam and Eve.
This process of teaching children obedience was paramount in reversing the crises of enmity among people and God. 
This is why we must recognise the importance of obedience in trying to resolve the issues bedeviling the world today. 
When God announced Abraham's role in training his children, he established a tall order for all would-be parents who cared to counter the crises in the societies through the ages by training their children to walk in God's ways.
It is noteworthy that families form the bedrock of societies and parents who do well, like Abraham, to train their children to follow the ways of God contribute in no small measure to providing the panacea for eradicating or, at least, reducing the attitudenal, behavioral and character crises bedeviling our world today. P roper parenting is godly parenting.  God has a purpose and plan for the family. God is sovereign in that the book of Genesis, the record of the beginnings, has it that "In the beginning God..." The basic way to teach a child is by doing. A child cannot learn what he cannot do. Hence, the importance of having a good knowledge of child development and growth for each parent or prospective parent should be emphasized. Instructions are not, however, ruled out completely only the child should be guided by the proper conduct of the instructor, the parents. For instance, a lazy parent cannot expect to teach a child hard work without incident. Yet a hard working parent can only expect that the child would learn the trait without much ado and rightly so.
